Can I target Blue-Eyes White Dragon with Ring of Destruction if it would create a loop?
You control Gemini Elf and Opticlops which is equipped with Axe of Despair, Pole Position is face-up, and Blue-Eyes White Dragon is on the field.
Destroying Blue-Eyes White Dragon with Ring of Destruction would create a voluntary infinite loop involving Opticlops, Axe of Despair, and Pole Position. Voluntary loops are illegal, so you cannot target Blue-Eyes with Ring of Destruction.
Can I chain Pole Position to Axe of Despair in this setup?
Opticlops and Gemini Elf are face-up. Axe of Despair targets Opticlops, and the opponent wants to chain Pole Position.
Chaining or activating Pole Position here would create a voluntary infinite loop with Axe of Despair, so it cannot be chained or activated in this situation.
