ATK modifiers resolve in chain during Damage Step.
Honest/Kalut resolves first, then Shrink halves the monster's original ATK. After that, other ATK modifiers are applied, yielding the final total.
How do Honest vs. Honest or Honest vs. Kalut resolve in Damage Calculation?✓
Both players want to use Honest (or one uses Kalut).
The turn player has the priority to activate their Honest/Kalut first in Damage Calculation. If both are activated, resolve the chain in order: the last effect to activate applies first, then earlier effects apply on top of that. An Honest that resolves will set the involved monster's ATK to the opponent's current ATK, so a later-resolving Honest (earlier Chain Link) effectively overwrites earlier boosts; when Kalut is involved, resolve each link in order and apply the 1400 boost before resolving the next link to see the final ATK.

You can send “Blackwing – Kalut the Moon Shadow” to the Graveyard during either player’s turn, as it is a Quick Effect.
This effect CAN be activated in Substep 4 - Damage Calculation of the Damage Step.
