Can I change the battle position of a monster I took with Brain Control this turn even though it's summoned this turn with Call of the Haunted?
On your turn, your opponent uses Call of the Haunted to summon Vorse Raider. You then activate Brain Control to take it.
Yes. The restriction is on the player who Summoned the monster this turn. Since you did not Summon Vorse Raider this turn, you may change its battle position after taking control.

● If that target isn't face-up in your opponent's control when this resolves, control of it does not change.
● If that monster is later flipped face-down, control still returns during the End Phase.

Pay 800 LifePoints. Select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Take control of it until the End Phase.
Paying 800 Life Points is a cost. This effect targets a face-up monster.
The targeted monster must remain face-up in order for control to be changed.
If the target is flipped face-down (by "Book of Moon"), "Brain Control" resolves without effect.
A monster affected by "Brain Control" that is flipped face-down later (by "Book of Moon") in the turn is still returned during the End Phase.
If you control your opponent’s monster with "Brain Control" and remove it from play with "Dimensionhole", during your following Standby Phase when the monster is returned to your side of the field it immediately returns to your opponent’s control.
You cannot activate "Brain Control" if your Monster Card Zones are all occupied.
